The Western New York Foundation
Applicants' Survey

The Western New York Foundation values your organization's contributions to the community and we thank you for the time and effort you recently spent on an application to us.  Unfortunately, since our resources are limited, we are not able to fund all of the requests which we receive and we have to make what are often difficult choices amongst grant applicants, all of whom are merit worthy. We do, however, value your opinion about our application process which may require a significant investment of applicant time.  We want that process, from initial application and evaluation through grant decision and subsequent reporting, to be as efficient and worthwhile as possible for our applicants. Since 2011, we have focused our grant-making on expanding the capacity of effective, sustainable organizations that provide important services to the community.  In this way, we hope that our dollars “leverage” organizations' existing strengths and fund key initiatives that may be  difficult to fund from other sources.  Would you consider taking this very important survey about our process and ways in which we might improve it?  Previous respondents have found that this survey takes approximately 20 minutes or less to complete.   Please respond to as many of the fifteen questions as possible.

Please feel free to contact Jennifer Johnson, Chairperson, with any questions.  She may be reached via email at fsj2@msn.com or by phone at 513-502-0123.  Thank you for your participation in this study.Your response will benefit both the Foundation and future grant applicants.
